(1) Credits Requirement for Graduation:

Undergraduate – 4 years (136 credits) with 2 more years of extension

Master Degree – 1 to 4 years (24 credits & 6 thesis credits)

Ph. D. – 2 to 7 years (18 credits & 12 thesis credits)

(2) For International Students, enrollment qualification will be terminated if fail more than 2/3 of the total credits for any 2 semesters.

(3) English Basic Math Placement Tests and Comprehensive Examinations in Chinese and English: (For undergraduate)

Undergraduate freshmen students should do English and Basic Math Placement Tests.

NTUT provides remedy courses to the students who belong to entry-level.

(4) Course Selection Information:

1. Course Selection Limitations:

Remark: Including the credits in the inter-department program and physical education.

2. Course Selection Periods:

l Pre-Selection period

l Add/Drop period

l Withdrawing courses: before 11th week of each semester

(5) Attendance Rate:

1. The undergraduate student who skips the classes more than 45 hours is expelled from the university.

2. The students will be suspended from school for the attendance rate which is lower than 2/3 of the total teaching hours for one semester.
