Background

  Three major environmental protection order which European Union released in 2003, (1) Directive on Waste Electronics and Electrical Equipment (WEEE): Recovery, Reuse, Recycle, Reduce. (2) Directive on Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS): Six harmful chemical materials: Lead (Pb) , mercury (Hg) , cadmium (Cd) , six valence chromium (Cr6+), polybrominate diphenyl ethers (PBB). It is forbid to limit the use of being their content outline. (3)Products, requirements for Energy-using of Directive on Eco-desing (EuP) : Environmental protection merger, idea of system of consuming energy the design process of product in manufacturer of supervising mainly, improve the environmental performance within its life cycle of the products.
     With the development of Hi-Tech industry, various kinds of new-type to make Cheng and use pluralism of material, considered as the harmful heavy metal material from the view of the environment in the past, used in the daily products as the new use is developed gradually. According to the statistical data, abolish the heavy metal contained in the electric equipment products and more than 3% promptly at home. So, set up chemical material and analyse technology, the useful resource continuous utilization that will be analysed is an important subject among them.
 

Purpose

  Combine limited resources in the school, study the structure in scientific and technological field of whole project of the interconnected system because of in conformity with the trend of development in science and technology, put up and produce and study the cooperative bridge. In order to investigate and study the composition of the chemical material, thing, person who take, electric conductivity, heat conductivity, machinery, difficult person who fire, corrosivity, resolve, separate, chemical material of retrieving etc. analyse technology is researched and developed.
 

Task

1. Promote this chemical material of school and analyse the technical research level, foster relevant talents.

2. Accumulate the energy of researching and developing, popularize to the outside the achievement researched and developed, the ones that gave play to the whole benefit and implemented research results are practical.
 

   Software & Hardware

     Teaching is discussed course is planned: Course that school analytical chemistry, instrument analyse, etc. is as the foundation with this.
     The hardware equipment is planned: From teachers of this centre's laboratory and producing learning the cooperative enterprise to offer relevant instrument and equipment.
     The chemical industry is the precision type instrument room: FTIR, AFM, SEM, DLS, TGA, DSC, HPLC, GPC, AA, UV/VIS, cone calorimeter, ESCA, etc..
