I am an professor in Vehicle Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology. My main research interests include Active Safety, Driver Assist System, Vehicle Dynamics and Control, Hybrid Electric Vehicle/Electric Vehicle, Engine Control, and Optimal Control.
I graduated from Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at National Taiwan University in 1994. After the military service, I went to University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1996. I got dual master degrees from Mechanical Engineering in 1997 and Electrical Engineering in mid 2000. Later on, I obtained my doctoral degree from Mechanical Engineering by the year end of 2000. I started working at American System Technology, Inc. and was assigned to work at Visteon Corporation as a powertrain control engineer from January 2001. After coming back Taiwan, I started as an assistant professor in Vehicle Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology since August 2001.
